Stargate SG-1 is the adaptation of the movie Stargate. For Ten Years it had entertained the Sci-Fi world with numerous quips from most of the cast, stories that were both full of action and character points generally the atmosphere that of fun with both seriousness and comedy stuck together as shown with the below clip with two of the characters stuck in a time loop and they have to find a way to break out of it.



Stargate SG-1 has also had a string of successful spin-offs in Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe which I'll talk about later.



The best bits of SG-1 is when it gives small bursts of humor and still continues with the seriousness.
